The 2026 Easter Retreat, introduces video recordings of Traleg Kyabgon Rinpoche IX with this years focus on Mahayana. These periods of intensive practice are valuable for both newcomers, who may be establishing the foundations of their spiritual journey, and experienced practitioners, who wish to deepen their understanding and commitment to the path. Introduction to the Mahayana View The Mahayana tradition, known as the ‘great vehicle’, focuses on the shift from self-centred motivations towards genuine compassion for others. This transition is not merely about personal growth; it also encompasses the constructive and meaningful impact one can have on the wider environment. Practitioners are encouraged to cultivate qualities such as open-mindedness and a truly liberal attitude—understood in this context as an openness that transcends political definitions. These characteristics are essential for engaging fully with the Mahayana path, enabling both individual and collective progress
